St. stephen's Community outreach activities
"Safe Street Halloween - Trunk or Treat" in partnership with Northglenn Police Department
Creating a fun and safe experience for families in our community. Thousands of costumed children and their families parade through the different participant booths. St. Stephen's sponsored a trunk , with shared sponsorship from Thrivent Action Team ( thrivent.com/actionteam ) (@Thrivent and #livegenerously ). This event was October 18, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Centennial Park in Northglenn (just north of the Northglenn Marketplace, at West 104th Avenue and Interstate 25).
Drop-In Line Dancing Classes -- every Thursday beginning May 15, 2025. NO COST during the month of May. June - December cost is "free-will offering"
(11 a.m. to 12 (noon) - Beginning Classes)
(12 (noon) to 1 p.m. - Advanced Beginning Classes)
Drop in, get to know the instructor and take a sample class at St. Stephen's for free!! If you love it (we know you will), come back again and again. Make sure you wear soft soled shoes, comfortable clothes, and a water bottle (gotta stay hydrated). Call or text 303.908.5977 for questions or comments. Have a ton of fun dancing to these choreographed, repeating steps. For ages 40+.
Community Garden -- Several individual plots owned and operated by St. Stephen's
The Community Garden plots are located on the church property on the eastern most boundary that separates church property from the Purple Moon Daycare. Join our community garden and enjoy the benefits of gardening! Get your hands dirty, connect with neighbors, and harvest fresh, healthy food. THE SEASON FOR THESE PLOTS IS OVER. PLEASE JOIN US LATE WINTER TO EARLY SPRING IN 2026!!!
